Hafeez Khan joined Booth Dennehy as an associate in 2006 where he practices immigration law, child protection law, and civil litigation. He practices all areas of immigration and has represented clients from every continent with the exception of Antartica. He is also counsel for Intertribal Child and Family Services.
Hafeez regularly appears before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada, the Manitoba Court of Queen's Bench and the Provincial Court of Manitoba. He is currently vice-chair of the immigration section of the Manitoba Bar Association and will assume the role of chair in June, 2009.
Prior to practising law, Hafeez interned with the Institute for Education in Democracy in Nairobi, Kenya, where he worked various voter-related projects, electoral legislation, by-elections as well as seminars and training sessions throughout Kenya.
