A graduate of the University of Manitoba, Robson Hall in 1988, Mr. Kelly practices primarily in the areas of Civil Litigation, Aboriginal Law, Federal and Private Labour and Employment Law, Real Estate, Corporate and Commercial Law and Child Protection.

Mr. Kelly is a member of the Manitoba Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. He is a past member of the Legal Advisory Committee to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

He has taught criminal justice and ethics at Red River Community College and guest lectured at the University of Winnipeg as well as for the Community Legal Education Association. He has been a participant in the Bar Admissions Course.

Mr. Kelly is very involved in aboriginal issues and litigation including residential school claims, treaty land entitlement claims and other Aboriginal Rights claims. Mr. Kelly worked closely with the late Mr. Rhys Jones M.S.M. in the area of Aboriginal Rights and claims for 8 years prior to Mr. Jones passing and strives to maintain the high standards of professional service Mr. Jones rendered to his aboriginal clients.
